About Moonscape
Moonscape ceremonies reconnect us to ourselves, our community, and nature. Each experience is centered around collective themes of each moon cycle. Join us in exploring a facet of the human experience through mind, body, and soul.
What to expect?
The New Moon in Aquarius calls us to radically transform and embody the most evolved version of ourselves. This is an opportunity to revolutionize our lives from the inside out and allow the inner work we’re doing to transform every aspect of our realities.
In this ceremony, we’ll be sitting in a short Green Tara Sadhana, a meditation practice in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and move our bodies with an energizing Vinyasa yoga flow. We will end with journaling to explore concepts of individual and collective liberation.
As a fully enlightened female buddha, Green Tara is an archetypal embodiment of the enlightened essence of mind – in particular, the qualities of mother nature, protection, and nurturing courage. When we connect to her qualities, we embody these qualities within ourselves and become empowered to help others who experience oppression in all forms.
This Green Tara practice is made widely available to anyone who wishes to connect to the teachings of Tara through Lodrö Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist monk, with texts completed by his student Rachael Wooten, PhD. To practice this specific sadhana, you do not have to be formally initiated into these Buddhist teachings. Just come with an open mind and heart.
